From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt lively yet comfortable, striking that perfect balance between buzzy and relaxed. It’s the kind of place that works just as well for a celebratory meal as it does for a long, indulgent catch-up over great food.

The service deserves special praise. The team were not only warm and attentive, but genuinely expert in what they do. Having the meats cooked for us on the grill at our table elevated the entire experience—everything was cooked with precision and timed perfectly, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy the meal. It felt personal, polished, and effortlessly smooth from start to finish.

The starters were a real highlight and frankly set the tone for the evening. Each dish arrived beautifully presented and packed with flavour, from crisp, perfectly seasoned bites to rich, comforting dishes that showcased the depth of Korean cuisine. Every starter felt thoughtfully prepared and completely moreish, making it very hard not to over-order before the mains even began.

When it came to the meats, SSam SSam truly excelled. The range of cuts available is vast and impressive, catering to both classic BBQ lovers and those looking for something a little more luxurious. The Wagyu in particular was exceptional—richly marbled, incredibly tender, and full of flavour. Each cut was distinct, high quality, and cooked to show off its best characteristics, making the BBQ element of the meal unforgettable.
